Blog posts and articles when covering topics that are being searched for are like planting seeds in a field. If you manage to plant enought content all over the internet, you will reach a point where you are earning passive income every month.
The disadvantage is that creating new content takes up a lot of time, but the return on your investment is very high if you can remain consistent and see it through.
On the other hand, if you don’t have a lot of time, but have some capital saved up to pursue your affiliate marketing venture, you might be better of learning Pay-Per-Click advertising instead of blogging. A reason why many people prefer blogging is that it can provide you with instant feedback, and sales almost instantly if the traffic is targeted enough to the offer you are sending it too.
The disadvantage is that you can end up spending a lot of money on a Pay Per Click advertising campaign, and if you don’t figure it out fast enough you can lose a lot of money doing it. Unlike the blogging you don’t get unlimited traffic for life, you simply pay for your traffic as it comes. You really want to make sure that your sales funnel is going to convert into sales very easily before you spend a lot of money on it.
Is The Training Up-to-date?
Another thing that needs to be considered is whether or not the affiliate marketing training is up to date. There could be a technology update that renders the training worthless that could happen 6 months after the course was released. In my opinion you want to make sure the training is either a brand new release or is constantly updated to ensure you are getting high quality and up to date education.
A good example of a product that couldn’t stay up to date is an SEO lead generation software I bought about a year ago. Google no longer supported the API that the software required to run on, so after just a few short months after the launch the software no longer worked, and was completely obsolete.
In the technology age, things are moving so quickly that it is difficult to keep up. If you invest your time and money in an affilaite marketing training keep an eye out for when it was last updated.
